Start a.s.a.p. 3 months, possible prolongation with a long-term contract.
The arrival test period is 14 days. Followed by a contract if successful.
No of hours per week:
Minimum 40 hours a week, possible to extend with additional hours. Two days free per week.
Normal current work shift is Tuesday to Saturday 2 pm to 10 pm (Fridays and Saturdays can be to 2 am) and free Sundays and Mondays – Note details can change.
Pay per hour:
Depending on skills assessment, years in the profession and documented references for useful skills
First contract 3 months at Euro 18.75 any prolongation assessed to below rates or what will be agreed at that point:
Level C (no documented experience but prepared to learn)
(low rate) Euro 18.75 hour
Level B (education in the profession documented but no experience) (medium rate) Euro 20.25 hour
Level A (documented experience and education accepted by ultimate client) (high rate) Euro 21 hour
(during arrival test, the test hours are paid at Euro 18.75)
Type of contract:
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37%) alternative posted self-employment permitted (Swedish F-skatt rules apply).
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English well spoken (compulsory)
- All additional languages are a plus (especially Swedish, Ukrainian and Russian)
- Social and positive, with the ability to connect, well fit for dealing with guests/clients
- Driver licence B is a plus
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
- Documented experience and references from the hospitality sector and/or studies are a plus
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate who has preferably experience as a waiter or is willing to learn the profession. The candidate is expected to have a positive mindset and be able to meet up with guests/clients with a smile and make the guests/clients feel that they are in the focus. Generally, service-minded and can take own initiatives.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from a CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate. Candidates can also make short video presentations of themself to share.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign a contract for the period.
(The 14-day test does not apply to the candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangements have to be made on a case to case basis with a short non-paid test at arrival).
Task:
Waiter with some hotel tasks. The task can include more such as:
- Receive guests
- Receive orders and handle payments from guest
- Serve food and drinks
- Assist with cleaning and arranging the restaurant
- Assist with the maintenance of the buffet
- Handle dinner serving and preparations
- Keep the restaurant clean and tidy
- Assist with catering events such as weddings, funerals and business events
- Check-in and out guests at the hotel
The ultimate client:
Established medium sized city hotel with a restaurant and nightclub. Staff is mixed with a Swedish management Sweden and current staff from Finland, Ukraine, Burma, Pakistan, Russia and Belarus.

Accommodation:
Several accommodation solutions some with higher standard with a charge. Accommodations solutions can be shown at interview for the position.
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available. Apartment based with individual room. Kitchen and toilets. WIFI at accommodation.
The accommodation is located in the town of Pajala (Largest town in the area with all necessary amenities including supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacy, shops, gyms, sports clubs and a bath house). This is in proximity to the hotel.
Client provide bikes. Cars can be rented for private use.
Lots of possibilities on free days to enjoy the nature and get to know the location.
Note that summertime its mainly a light period of the year with about two months with midnight sun.
