About this recruitment
We are recruiting one experienced waiter for a well-established hotel in northern Sweden, located approximately 35 km from Älvsbyn and 100 km from Luleå. The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, including both buffet and à la carte. The team is mostly Swedish and all staff speak English. The position runs from July 1 to October 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 165 hours a month, more work is possible depending on demands.
Work is according to schedule with other co-workers including some weekends and holidays. Scheduled leave.
Compensation is determined based on qualifications assessed during the test.
Pay per hour is expected approximately SEK 218 (brutto/pre-tax).
Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English, good level written and spoken – verified.
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition.
- Drivers’ licence (B) recommended.
- Experience as waiter or similar (preferably minimum 2–5 years documented).
Candidate profile
A flexible person who is physically fit and experienced, with a background from a restaurant, café, or hotel. Used to managing tasks and working together with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, the regular contract will commence.
Tasks
Hotels restaurant serves, breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The served food is buffet and a la carte. Waiter will attend the customer’s needs and keep the restaurant tidy with the wider team.
The ultimate client
Well established hotel with modern refurbished kitchen. Most staff are Swedish including Restaurant Manager. All staff speaks English.
Accommodation
Accommodation at site or in a villa a few kilometres from the hotel. follows Dolphin Group standards (that include Wi-Fi 24/7, access to fully equipped kitchen, own bedroom, access to living room, toilet/shower). Cleaning at accommodation is handled by the candidates.
Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from the country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment for less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
Other details
- Offered Swedish self-employment as a partner with assistance to get registered and filing with the authorities.
- Support by Dolphin internal staff for administration, travel, and miscellaneous details.
- Candidate must have a full passport (not only national ID).
