About this recruitment
Dolphin Posted is recruiting 1–2 workers for a family-run chicken farm in Ystad, southern Sweden. The farm specialises in egg production and is managed by a Swedish-speaking team in a calm, rural setting.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a background in animal farming who is comfortable working independently and as part of a small team. The position starts with a 14-day probationary period, followed by a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Working hours and pay
Minimum 40 hours per week (highly likely a bit more when it’s needed, up to 50 hours).
€15.75/hour.
Swedish Self-Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depends on annual income level), alternative posted self-employed from the country of residence rules apply.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details, such as:
- Communicative English is a must/Swedish is a plus.
- Drivers licence B it’s a must.
- Experience from a Chicken farm or a general animals farm work is required.
- Positive to teamwork.
- Positive to physical work.
- Having a good health condition.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a responsible and committed person with knowledge of animal production, preferably with previous experience in chicken production.
We are seeking someone who can work closely with and take direction from our supervisor in the chicken production department. Both female and male candidates are welcome to apply.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, the regular contract will commence.
Tasks
Daily supervision of laying hens and egg packaging, as well as other tasks related to egg production. The role may also include basic repairs, cleaning, and general building maintenance.
The ultimate client
Well-established family-run chicken farm with Swedish management. The farm employs a small team of workers, most of whom are based in Sweden.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows the Dolphin Group minimum standards and includes Wi-Fi access. Contractors have individual bedrooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
The accommodation is located on the farm.
The nearest supermarket, pharmacy, and health centre are located in the nearest town, approximately 9 km away.
A car may be borrowed from the farm manager for essential errands when needed.
Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from the country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment for less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
Other details
- Offered Swedish self-employment as a partner with assistance to get registered and filing with the authorities.
- Support by Dolphin internal staff for administration, travel, and miscellaneous details.
- Candidate must have a full passport (not only national ID).
