About this recruitment
We are recruiting 1 bartender for a new client – a beach restaurant in Höllviken, Scania. The position runs from late May or early June through end of August 2026, as a self-employed posted worker assignment through Dolphin Group.
Working hours and pay
Weather Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week over the whole contract period. Most weeks reach 55 hours but some can be below due to weather conditions.
Workdays are usually Tuesday to including Saturday with 11 hours shift usually from midday to around 11 pm. Restaurant open all days weekly.
€22.50/hour (pre- taxes and social security).
Note that tips are well given and taxable but is shared with the staff.
Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.
Possible also posted self employment from other EU- countries special rules apply.
Probationary test for selected candidates maximum 14 days are paid at €22.50/hour (inconvenience pay only for none Swedish resident candidates). Test candidate will have free travel to and from test including accommodation.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English, fluently, spoken.
- Swedish language is a plus (not compulsory).
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition (no back problems).
- Experience from bartender work.
- Able to work on high speed and demand.
- Positive attitude towards customers.
- Teamwork ability.
Candidate profile
Flexible person who is fit, social and communicative. Used to teamwork. The candidate need som previous experience as bartender, able to work on high demand.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, the regular contract will commence.
Tasks
Arrange simple cocktails, wine, and beer and alcoholic beverages – bar back service.
The ultimate client
The Restaurant is located on a beach location in the village Höllviken in Scania. There is a 25 person staff consisting of a Swedish management with 12 waiters, 6 chefs, 2 dealing with dishes, 3 kiosk attendance. Staff has mixed nationality so communication need to be in English.
Accommodation
Free accommodation in proximity to the restaurant (1 km away).
Accommodation follow Dolphin minimum standards that include own bedroom in a small house that have 3 bedrooms. Access to fully equipped kitchen and toilet with shower. Internet provided at the accommodation.
Supermarket is in the the village that also have larger grocery stores, ATM, pharmacy.
Extra facts
The location is in the nature area with lots of possibilities to do hiking, swimming, fishing and get involved in nature on free time. Very popular location in Sweden. Also when day off possible to explore the wider province of Scania or nearby Denmark with capital Copenhagen. Public transport is excellent and fair priced.
