About this recruitment
We are recruiting 12 pig farmers for an existing client – a well-established family-run pig farming business with multiple facilities in southern Sweden, now opening a new location in Anderslöv. The position offers a genuine long-term opportunity with the possibility of residency in Sweden. Offered as a self-employed assignment through Dolphin Group.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 40 hours/week with minimum 1 day off per week. Additional hours possible for those who can manage.
Pay is €16/hour pre-taxes. During the 14-day trial period, hours are compensated at €16/hour.
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depend on annual income level) alternative posted self-employed from country of resident rules apply.
Once a person have long term contract and become resident the fiscal tax burden is lowered to approximately 30%.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English (exceptions can be done if very experienced pig farmer)
- Drivers license B is a plus
- Drivers license for tractor is a plus
- Experience animals in particular with pigs
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health condition
- Prepared to follow instructions given and positive to teamwork
Candidate profile
A candidate who have the experience in farming work with pigs and/or animals and if possible, also have some knowledge in vaccination and castrations and moving pigs/piglets. Adaptable to work in team and eager to learn more. The candidate is looking for a long term engagement and possible settlement in Sweden alone or with his/her family if applicable.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated at €16/hour.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, the regular contract will commence, followed by an offer of a long-term contract.
Tasks
Daily routine work with pig production under supervision (scraping, strewing, feeding washing, general care and maintenance of pigs (sow and piglets) including vaccinations and castrations when needed.

A leading pig farmer in Sweden operates a family-run business that has been passed down for generations. The farmer has several facilities in southern Sweden and is opening a completely new facility with a 12-person team to operate it.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available.
Several accommodation options exist. Minimum individual bedroom but some option can be an independent own house. All accommodations have access to fully equipped kitchen, bathroom.
The accommodation is in proximity to the farm depending on selected option. Closest supermarket 2 km away.
Large city is 31 km away.
Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
Other details
- Offered Swedish Self Employment as partner with assistance to get registered and filing to authorities.
- Support by Dolphin internal staff for, administration, travel and miscellaneous details.
- Candidate must have a full passport (not only national ID).
