About this recruitment
We are recruiting 1–2 milk farmers for an existing client – an established family farm near Ljusdal, Sweden, with a mixed Swedish-Polish workforce. The position is offered as a self-employed assignment through Dolphin Group.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 40–48 hours/week with planned shifts and 1–2 days off per week.
Pay is €16/hour pre-taxes.
Swedish Self-Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depends on annual income level), alternative posted self-employed from the country of residence, rules apply.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Communicative English or Swedish / Polish en plus.
- Drivers license B is required.
- Tractor/wheel loader experience.
- If a candidate come with their own car is a plus otherwise If the candidate holds a valid driver’s license, they may borrow a car for grocery/ essentials.
- Experience from milk farming, cows and calves.
- Positive to teamwork.
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition.
Candidate profile
A candidate man or woman (not couples) who have experience with milk farming, handling cows and calves. Used to operating a tractor and wheel loader.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated at €16/hour.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, the regular contract will commence for the remaining period.
Tasks
Dealing with the milking process and handling mainly cows and calves tasks/ monitoring animals on pasture, property maintenance, maintenance of manure removal systems, interior fittings, etc.
The ultimate client
Well established family farm with current staff from Sweden and Poland.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards, including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.
The accommodation is on the farm with its own two rooms, kitchen and toilet.
Closest supermarket, pharmacy, and health centre at the main city, 5 km away.
Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
