About this recruitment
We are recruiting 4 pig farmers for a new client – a pig farm near Trelleborg in southern Sweden. The position is offered as a self-employed assignment through Dolphin Group.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 40 hours per week (can become more). Work is following planed shifts. Some weekend work can occur.
Payment is €15/hour.
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depend on annual income level – once long term usual fiscal charge by deductions reduced to 30% when resident).
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English
- Drivers licence B
- Experience with the tractor is a plus
- Experience animals in particular pigs
- Experience in repair of the feeding facilities and equipment is a plus
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health condition
Candidate profile
A candidate who have the experience in pig farming work with animals and who have experience moving pigs (sow and piglets), give vaccinations and do castrations. Candidate able to work in team and alone when needed.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary test
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated at €15/hour.
Regular contract
If approved after the test period, a 3-month contract commences, followed by a renewable 12-month contract.
Tasks
Daily routine work with pig production under some supervision (scraping, strewing, feeding, washing, general care and maintenance of pigs (sow and piglets) including vaccination and castrations when needed).
The ultimate client
Established a large pig farm with about 10 staff (female and male age 20 to 57). Swedish manager.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.
The accommodation is in proximity to the workplace with good standards. internet WIFI available.
Car available for essential use.

Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment.
