About this recruitment
We are recruiting 1 tractor and loader driver (farm machinery operator) for a new client – a large family-owned pig farm near Åhus in southern Sweden. The position is offered as a self-employed assignment through Dolphin Group.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 40 hours, depending on weather conditions. More hours can occur depending on the person’s ability to work up to a maximum of 80 hours in extreme situations.
€22.50/hour (after approved arrival test)
During the probationary arrival test, there is a payment for the loss of time at €20/hour.
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level), alternative posted self-employed from the country of residence, rules apply.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English.
- Driving license: category B (CE is a plus)
- Practical Experience in:
- Combine Harvesting.
- Forage Chopping.
- Square baling and round baling.
- Handling Solid and Liquid Manure.
- Strong repair and Maintenance skills, including
- Welding/Turning- Lathe work.
- Positive to teamwork.
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health conditions
Candidate profile
Someone who is strong and has experience in harvesting operations: combine harvesting, chopping, square baling, round baling, and solid and liquid manure handling.
Repair and maintenance skills, including welding, turning, and general machinery repairs.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day arrival test
If approved, the candidate travels to the farm for a 14-day arrival test period. Test hours are compensated at €20/hour.
Regular contract
If approved after the arrival test, a 3-month contract commences at €22.50/hour, with possible extension.
Tasks
Perform combine harvesting and forage chopping. Operate machinery for square baling and round baling. Handle both solid and liquid manure spreading. Carry out repair and maintenance work, including: Welding /Turning/lathe operations. General machinery repairs. modern machinery fleet.
The ultimate client
Established a large pig farm, a Family-owned farm with three generations living on the site. Our team consists of people of all ages, ranging from 25-55) Swedish staff. 55 employees in the company and 2 young team leaders Swedish manager.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards, including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen, and toilets.
The accommodation is in proximity to the workplace with good standards. Private accommodation located on the farm. Bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor, shared kitchen and living room on the ground floor. Wi-Fi available. Bedding and work clothes provided by the client.

Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from the country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
Other details
- Offered Swedish self-employment as a partner with assistance to get registered and filing to the authorities.
- Support by Dolphin internal staff for administration, travel and miscellaneous details.
- The candidate must have a full passport (not only a national ID).
