About this recruitment
We are recruiting 2 farm workers for a well-established family-operated chicken farm near Ystad, Sweden. The work involves daily supervision of laying hens and egg production. The two positions rotate – each worker is on site for 2 months, then has 2 months off. This creates a recurring opportunity for the right candidates.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 50 hours per week (highly likely a bit more when it’s needed).
€15.75/hour
Swedish Self-Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depends on the annual income level) Alternative posted self- employed from country of resident rules apply.
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Communicative English or Swedish is a must
- Drivers license B it’s a must
- Experience from a Chicken farm or a general animals farm work experience is required.
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
Candidate profile
An experienced farm worker – man or woman – with hands-on experience from poultry or animal farming. Reliable, physically fit, and comfortable with repetitive daily routines.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary period
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period.
Regular contract
If approved after the probationary period, a regular self-employed contract commences.
Tasks
Daily supervision of laying hens and packaging of eggs, as well as other tasks related to egg production. Simple repairs and cleaning may also occur. Building maintenance may also be required.
The ultimate client
Well-established family-operated chicken farm. Management is Swedish and a handful of workers mainly resident in Sweden work at the farm.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards, including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.
The accommodation is on the farm. Closest supermarket, pharmacy, health centre at the main city 11 km away.
Main location and travel connections
Travel
Paid travel to and from the country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).
