About this recruitment
We are recruiting 2 pig farmers for a well-established farm in Sösdala, Sweden. Daily work involves pig production under supervision, with a team of experienced staff on site. The position runs from June 10 to August 31, 2026 with possible extension of contract.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 40 hours per week (can be up to 50 hours). Work is following planned shifts. Some weekend work can occur.
€15/hour
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level – once long-term usual fiscal charge by deductions reduced to 30% when resident).
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English
- Drivers licence B
- Experience with the tractor is a plus
- Experience animals in particular pigs
- Experience in repair of the feeding facilities and
- Equipment is a plus
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
Candidate profile
A candidate who has experience in pig farming works with animals and who has experience moving pigs (sow and piglets), giving vaccinations and doing castrations. Candidate able to work in a team and alone when needed.
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary period
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated for loss of time with €15/hour. (The 14-day test does not apply to the candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangements have to be made on a case-to-case basis with a short non-paid test at arrival).
Regular contract
If approved after the probationary period, a regular self-employed contract commences.
Tasks
Daily routine work with pig production under some supervision (scraping, strewing, feeding, washing, general care and maintenance of pigs (sow and piglets) including vaccination and castrations when needed).
The ultimate client
Established medium large pig farm with about 5 staff (female and male aged 20 to 56). Swedish manager.
Accommodation
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group’s minimum standards including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.
The accommodation is in proximity to the workplace with good standards. Internet WIFI is available. The car is available for essential use. The closest supermarket, ATM and pharmacy are 2 km away.

Travel
Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).

- Offered Swedish Self Employment as a partner with assistance to get registered and filing to authorities.
- Support by Dolphin internal staff for administration, travel and miscellaneous details.
- Candidate must have a full passport (not only national ID).
