About this recruitment

We are recruiting one stable and maintenance farm worker for a well-established milk farm near Simrishamn, Sweden. The farm has been operating for over 8 years with a team of 7 people and Swedish management. The farm uses robot milking systems. The position is suitable for a candidate with farming experience who is comfortable with a mix of stable work and practical maintenance tasks.

Working hours and pay

Minimum 40 hours per week (can be up to 50 hours). Work is following planned shifts. Some weekend work can occur.

€13/hour

(Open for Swedish Self-Employment and posted foreign self-employment, rules apply respectively)

Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depending on annual income level – once long-term usual fiscal charge by deductions reduced to 30% when resident).

Qualifications

Overall assessment of positive details such as:

Communicative English
Positive to physical work
Having good health condition
Farming experience a plus
Drivers License

Candidate profile

Candidate can work independently and quickly, with a length of 1.67 cm to 1.80 cm not overweight or has any medical injury including back pain or hand injuries that prevent them from doing work. A person should be used to handy work).

Selection process

CV assessment

Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.

14-day probationary period

If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated for loss of time with €13/hour.

Regular contract

If approved after the probationary period, a regular self-employed contract commences.

Tasks

Work at a milk farm with robot milking systems. Tasks include stable work, general farm maintenance and other practical duties as needed. The team consists of 7 people with Swedish management.

The ultimate client

Established medium large pig farm with about 5 staff (female and male aged 20 to 56). Swedish manager.

Accommodation

Accommodation follows Dolphin Group’s minimum standards including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.

The accommodation is in proximity to the workplace with good standards. Internet WIFI is available.
