About this recruitment
We are recruiting up to 6 farm workers for a mushroom farm in Saxtorp, near Landskrona, Sweden. The work involves mushroom picking and post-harvest tasks. The position is open to candidates from Poland, Bulgaria, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania. There is a possibility to return the following year for well-performing workers.
Working hours and pay
Minimum 47 hours per week with one free day per week. €14/hour (depending on performance and experience).
Swedish self-employment for long term engagement pay in SEK 135 up to SEK 150 (depending on performance and experience)
Qualifications
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Communicative English
- Drivers licence B (optional)
- Fork lift experience (optional)
- Having good health condition
- Experience from farm work specially Mushroom farms or similar.
Candidate profile
Perfect candidate would be person with age group 28-38 years who can work independent and quick, with length 1.70 cm to 1.80 cm not overweight or has any medical injury including back pain or hand injuries that prevent from doing work. Person should be handy with finger work (mushrooms need handy work).
Selection process
CV assessment
Assessment is done from CV in English, followed by a possible online interview.
14-day probationary period
If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period.
Regular contract
If approved after the probationary period, a regular self-employed contract commences.
Tasks
Pick mushrooms, and deal with after‐harvest work such as weighing and packing and thus compatible work including other task as below.
Washing crop rooms with high pressure washing, driving forklift and emptying used compost (regardless of weather) and lifting in/out Compost blocks 24 kg x 200 pieces once every two weeks.
The ultimate client
Small farm operated by owner who has a female manager from Estonia of Russian origin who speaks English. Other workers at farm are mainly from Lithuania and/or Estonia.
Accommodation
Large house close to farm (10 minutes walk from farm).
Accommodation is shared with others and all at the accommodation have to keep it tidy (bedroom, kitchen and bathroom) follows Dolphin Group standards (that include Wi-Fi 24/7 – fibre speed). If a couple apply, will have own room. Otherwise applicant from same Gender have to share a double Bed-Room.
Transportation is available for domestic purchases once a week if needed.

Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company.

- Support from Dolphin internal staff for administration, travel and practical matters.
- Full passport required – national ID card not accepted.
