No of hours per week:
Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week over the whole contract period.
Most likely higher due to the fact that work schedule is based on shifts from 9 AM to 10 PM workdays. The weeks are zic-zac. One of the weeks days work and 2 days free. The next week 5 days free and 2 days work. The weeks with 5 free days in a row give nice opportunity to explore the region, enjoy beach days, visit Malmoe, Copenhagen (Denmark). In a month its assumed that the number of hours reach 180 to 210 hours.
Restaurant open all days weekly.
Pay per hour:
Euro 22.50 per hour (pre- taxes and social security).
Note that tips are well given and taxable but is shared with the staff.
Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.
Possible also posted self employment from other EU-countries special rules apply.
Probationary test for selected candidates maximum 14 days are paid at Euro 22.50 per hour (inconvenience pay only for none Swedish resident candidates). Test candidate will have free travel to and from test including accommodation.
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English, communicative, spoken.
- Swedish language is a plus (not compulsory).
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition (no back problems).
- Experience from kitchen work as chef or assistant.
- Experience to deal with the grill/steak on high demand.
- Teamwork ability and possibility to work alone on occasions.
Preferred candidates’ profile
Flexible person who is fit, social and communicative. Used to teamwork. The candidate need some years in previous experience, In the field as chef or assistant in kitchen and knows international grill/steak position during high demand.
Selection process:
From CV in English. Dolphin team an online interview with candidate. If candidate pass interviews the next is to travel to the site and conduct the 14 days arrival probationary test period. If candidate pass tests the regular contract will commence.
Task:
Work in a kitchen with steak and grill position. an a la carte menu where and being able to work under pressure, maintain the correct temperature and work efficiently to ensure consistent quality. Some work can occur attending the window for distribution of food and beverages.
Info about the company:
The Restaurant is located on a beach location in the village Höllviken in Scania. There is a 25 person staff consisting of a Swedish management with 12 waiters, 6 chefs, 2 dealing with dishes, 3 kiosk attendance. Staff has mixed nationality so communication need to be in English.
Accommodation:
Free accommodation in proximity to the restaurant (1km away).
Accommodation follow Dolphin minimum standards that include own bedroom in a small house that have 3 bedrooms. Access to fully equipped kitchen and toilet with shower. Internet provided at the accommodation.
Supermarket is in the the village that also have larger grocery stores, ATM, pharmacy.
