Start: mid-April 2026 – End: mid-December 2026 (with a possible year-round contract extension).
No of hours per week:
Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week over the whole contract period. Most likely higher.
Work-shift can vary between 6, 8 and 12 hours. On average there is 2 connected days free per week.
Restaurant open all days weekly.
Pay per hour:
Euro 26 per hour (pre- taxes and social security).
Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.
Possible also posted self employment from other EU- countries special rules apply.
Probationary test for selected candidates maximum 14 days are paid at Euro 26 per hour (inconvenience pay only for none Swedish resident candidates). Test candidate will have free travel to and from test including accommodation.
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English, communicative, spoken.
- Swedish language is a plus (not compulsory).
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition (no back problems).
- Experienced sous-chef.
- Experienced with ordering supplies.
- Minimum 5 years experience with a la carte.
- Teamwork ability and possibility to work alone on occasion.
Preferred candidates’ profile
Flexible person who is fit, social and communicative. Used to teamwork. Coaching talented. The candidate have at least a handful of years previous experience and have worked at different locations. In the field as chef knows international cuisine and traditions. The person is a problem fixer when challenges occur.
Selection process:
From CV in English. Dolphin team an online interview with candidate. If candidate pass interviews the next is to travel to the site and conduct the 14 days arrival probationary test period. If candidate pass tests the regular contract will commence.
Task:
In addition to the regular work as a chef with experience in a la carte, the position also includes administrative aspects such as scheduling, menu planning, orders, and planning and monitoring of kitchen routines and cleaning & hygiene routines.
Info about the company:
The Restaurant is located on an island in the Stockholm archipelago, about an hour from the city. On the island there are several different businesses that are all part of the same organization. This means that there is colleagues who work in several different professions. However, the closest colleagues are chefs, kitchen managers, dishwashers and wait staff. Nationalities can vary but are mainly Swedes. However, among them there are also people from Mongolia, Ukraine and various Baltic countries. See photo
Accommodation:
Free accommodation is located on the island in proximity to the restaurant.
Accommodation follow Dolphin minimum standards that includes own bedroom. Access to fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Note there is no Internet provided at the accommodation.
Public ferry to mainland operates frequently to the mainland. There is connection with public buses to city.
Supermarket is in the city that also have larger grocery stores, ATM, pharmacy. It takes approximately an hour each way to get to the city by the public transportation.
