Arrival test period 14 days. 6 months with possible prolongation to a long-term contract.
No of hours per week:
Minimum 40 hours per week, (can be up to 50 hours). Work is following the planned shifts. Some weekend work can occur. Work normally starts 07:00 – 16:00.
Pay per hour:
Payment is Euro 16,50 per hour.
Type of contract:
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37%) alternative posted self-employment permitted (Swedish F-skatt rules apply).
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Fair and communicative English
- Driver’s license B
- Experience with a tractor is a plus
- Experience animals in particular pigs
- Experience in repair of the feeding facilities and equipment is a plus
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health conditions
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate who has the experience in pig farming work with animals and those who have experience moving pigs (sow and piglets), giving vaccinations if needed, the candidate is able to work in a team.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from CV with possible online interview to select candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the first 14 days of the test period. If approved after 14 days, the candidate will sign a contract for the remaining period as self-employed in the Swedish model.
(14-day test do not apply to candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangement have to be done on a case to case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).
Task:
Daily routine tasks such as cleaning the pig pens, spreading straw, marking pigs that may require medical treatment, ongoing (basic) maintenance of stable equipment, washing the barns using a high-pressure washer, etc. In addition, various other farm-related duties as required.

Well-established family farm with current staff from Sweden and Poland.
