No of hours per week:
Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week over the whole contract period. Most likely higher.
The amount of hours are not fixed that every week is 40 its only the overall period that will reach that. The peak season is July and first half of August when work is very intensive and easy be 60 hours per week. Mid May, month of June and last half of August the amount of hours are most likely less than 40 hours and more like part time.
In the first part and the end of the season a number of days off will be and it’s possible to explore the island if one wants. During the high season the aim is to have a day off per week. The schedule will be agreed running.
Restaurant open all days weekly.
Pay per hour:
Euro 21 per hour (pre- taxes and social security).
(If candidate have more than 10 years experience documented and 2 references pay rate is increased to Euro 23 per hour after successful arrival test).
Note the selected candidate will be Swedish Self Employed and earning are having approximately 37% fiscal charge.
Possible also posted self employment from other EU- countries special rules apply.
Probationary test for selected candidates maximum 14 days are paid at Euro 21 per hour (inconvenience pay only for none Swedish resident candidates). Test candidate will have free travel to and from test including accommodation.
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English, communicative, spoken.
- Swedish language is a plus (not compulsory).
- Positive to physical work.
- Having good health condition (no back problems).
- Experienced chef.
- Experience in preparing steak with right temperature and controlling variations as to customers demands.
- Teamwork ability and possibility to work alone on occasion.
Preferred candidates’ profile
Flexible person who is fit, social and communicative. Used to teamwork.
Candidate have at least a handful of years previous experience and have worked at different locations. In the field as chef knows international cuisine and traditions.
Selection process:
From CV in English. Dolphin team an online interview with candidate. If candidate pass interviews the next is to travel to the site and conduct the 14 days arrival probationary test period. If candidate pass tests the regular contract will commence.
Task:
Chef at the kitchen. Working with the team beneath the sous chef and the chef de cuisine.

Restaurant is a summer based restaurant located south of the City Visby on the island Gotland. Restaurant serves 200-300 lunch and about 100 dinners every day during high season. Manager is Swedish. Many staff members are young often studying and have work for the summer.
Accommodation:
Free accommodation is located in direct proximity to the restaurant.
Accommodation follow Dolphin minimum standards that include shared bedroom. Access to fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Access to Internet.
Public Bus runs frequently daily to the City (5 km away)
Supermarket is on city. Larger grocery stores, ATM, pharmacy is in the city (5 km away).
