Period:
START OCTOBER (preferred 14th), after a successful arrival test and an 8-month contract. Possible prolongation if all agree after the first contract.
The arrival test period is 14 days.
No of hours per week:
Minimum 40 hours per week (can become more sometimes). Work is following planned shifts. Some weekend work can occur. At least one full day off per week (most two days off per week).
Pay per hour:
15 Euro per hour
Arrival test hours are paid by 15 euro also.

Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Communicative English
- Drivers licence B
- Tractor/farm equipment experience
- Brush cutting experience/certificate is a plus
- Experience in animals farming
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health condition
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate with experience in cow farming work and dealing with animals, and the use of tractor and modern farming equipment.
The candidate is expected to enjoy animal farming and feel comfortable with working with cows.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the first 14 days of test period. If approved after 14 days, the candidate will sign a contract for the next period as self-employed in Sweden model.
Test hours are compensated for loss of time with Euro 14 per hour.
(14 days test do not apply to candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangement have to be done on a case to case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).
Task:
Daily routine work with feeding in a modern barn plus older barn, assist with calving’s during the calving season (February to May), ploughing snow, some field work, bring the cattle inside the barns in October/November. Brush cutting, pastures and in forest during fall and spring. cow production and maintenance of cows (including, feeding, washing, general care and maintenance of cows). Some of the work by use of tractor (especially feeding and field work). Calving season is February to May.
The ultimate client:
Established family operated cow farm. Cow farm mainly for meat production, raising castles. Farm got 150 heads of cattle whereof 50 pregnant cows (most are 50% Wagyu).
Swedish family operated farm. Swedish staff some dealing with forestry and a few with the animal production.

Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available. 4 bedrooms and kitchen and toilets.
Living is at the farm in a house with individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets. Internet available 24/7. Heating is by using wood (cutting wood outside work hours is a private task).
