The arrival test period is 14 days. Followed by a 3-month contract if successful. Followed by a plus 12 month contract renewable.

No of hours per week:
Minimum 40 hours per week (can become more). Work is following planned shifts. Some weekend work can occur. At least two full days free per week.
Pay per hour:
Payment is assed due to skills and through the process. At test (first 2 weeks) and if approved the payment is SEK 225 per hour (approx. Euro 19 per hour).
Depending on skills and by time pay rate can be reviewed upwards over time.
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depend on annual income level – once long-term usual fiscal charge by deductions reduced to 30% when resident).
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- Experienced butcher (reference is a plus)
- Fair and communicative English
- If any Swedish knowledge is a plus
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having good health condition
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate who has experience in the profession as a butcher is responsible and who works on own initiative.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from a CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days, the candidate will sign a contract for the next period as self-employed in the Sweden model.
Test hours are compensated for loss of time with SEK 225 per hour.
(The 14-day test does not apply to the candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases, arrangements have to be made on a case-to-case basis with a short non-paid test at arrival).
Task:
Slaughter and cutting, of ox, pig, sheep, pig or similar. Hygienic cleaning of the site after slaughter and cutting.
The ultimate client:
Established a smaller slaughterhouse with 7-8 employees mainly from Sweden, Ireland and Poland.

Living is located 200 meters from work.
Public transportation is limited and if the candidate is from Poland or Lithuania can arrive by car. Another candidate who ends up having a long-term contract might be interested in buying some sort of communication. Dolphin can give advice on how to proceed.
