The arrival test period is 14 days. Followed by a contract if successful.
No of hours per week:
Up to 15 hours a day, 4 days a week. Total 60 hours a week. Free days Tuesday, Thursday and Sundays (the schedule here can be modified but not likely)
Pay per hour:
Euro 15 per hour
(during the arrival test, the test hours are paid also by Euro 15)
Type of contract:
Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37%) alternative posted self-employment permitted (Swedish F-skatt rules apply).
Qualifications:
Overall assessment of positive details such as:
- English well spoken
- All additional languages are a plus
- Social and positive, with the ability to connect, wellfit for dealing with tourists
- Drivers licence B, able to drive a minibus duringsnow and winter conditions
- Positive to teamwork
- Positive to physical work
- Having a good health condition
Thought candidate Profile:
A candidate who has preferably experience with tourism by dealing with guiding or travel arrangements for groups or similar. Candidate finds Artic winter as attractive. Experienced driver.
Selection process:
Assessment is done first from a CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.
Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign a contract for the period.
(14 days tests do not apply to the candidate’s residence or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases, arrangements have to be done on a case-to-case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).
Task:
Transfer tourists daily by driving 260 km with minibus. Guiding tourist. Work is done with co-workers. 60% of work is done outdoors with dressing for the climate conditions at all times.
The ultimate client:
Established Artic tour operator who arranges tourist excursions. Mainly Swedish employees who all speak English.

Accommodation:
Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets. WIFI at the accommodation.
The accommodation is located in the city of Kiruna (The largest city in the area with all necessary amenities).
Lots of possibilities on free days to enjoy winter activities and get to know the location.
Note that wintertime is mainly a dark period of the year.
