Ongoing – After successfully completing the arrival test, the initial 6-month contract will become ongoing for the candidate if they are approved. It is also an option to rotate between two candidates, once the first candidate has passed the initial contract.

No of hours per week:

Minimum 46 hours per week.

Approximately 8 days a day Monday to Friday and 2- 3 hours per day on Saturday and Sundays.

Pay per hour:

Euro 15 (first contract possible review future contracts)

Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 40% – depending on annual income level) alternative posted self-employed from the country of resident rules apply.

Note: expected net earnings contract 6-month period, if Swedish Self Employment and no absence and current level hours Euro 10,764.

Qualifications:

Overall assessment of positive details such as:

Fair and communicative English
Drivers licence B it’s a plus
Experience with pig farming
Prepared to follow instructions given and positive to teamwork
Positive to physical work
Having a good health condition

It is important to note that the use of drugs and alcohol is strictly prohibited during the assignment, and any violations of this policy will not be tolerated.

The ideal candidate for this position should be between 25-40 years old, with experience working with farm animals, particularly pigs. We are looking for someone who is open to the possibility of settling in Sweden for the long-term or rotating through 3-6 month assignments. Gender is not a determining factor in the selection process.

The desired profile for the candidate is as follows:

Selection process:

Assessment is done first from the CV with a possible online interview to select a candidate.

Once a candidate is approved, the candidate will have to sign a probationary agreement that is for the 14 first days of the test period. If approved after 14 days candidate will sign a contract for the remaining period as self-employed in the Sweden model.

(14 days tests do not apply to the candidate’s resident or prior resident in Sweden, in such cases arrangements have to be done on a case-to-case basis with a short none paid test at arrival).

Task:

Scraping and sprinkling of pig crates. Stable washing with high-pressure washing. Cleaning of stables less repair and maintenance of stables.

The ultimate client:

Well-established Pig and Vegetable farm family operated with staff from mainly Sweden and Poland, the latter doing repairs. The farm operates 25,000 pigs annually for slaughter. There is also a vegetable production (this vacancy does not involve vegetables)

Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards (that includes WI-FI 24/7).

At a farm 2 km from the pig farm. The accommodation has an individual room and shared kitchen and toilet/shower (the accommodation can fit another person in another room but at present is vacant). Broadband WI-FI supplied.

Bicycles or walking distance to work return.

The closest town with a supermarket is 7 km away from accommodation and a larger town is 15 km away with all amenities.

The farm will arrange twice a month transport for essential shopping.

Car is available for essential use conditional.

Lithuanian and Polish candidates can travel to the assignment in their own car if they want.
